Bette Gallo and her husband Sal owned and operated a real estate company in the Delaware beach resort region since 1979, with offices in Lewes, Rehoboth Beach, and Bethany Beach.

Bette and her family also created the Gallo Gives Foundation which monetarily assists local charities and non-profit organizations in Southern Delaware.  Bette was also a director of the Rehoboth Beach Main Street organization whose effort focused on maintaining the solvency and vitality of downtown Rehoboth restaurants and businesses as the Coastal Highway corridor began developing.

Bette has lived in the Lewes region of Sussex County for over 50 years and is one of the founders of Community Bank Delaware, serving on the board since 2005.
